I grew up inside the beltway of Washington DC and discovered at an early age that the common path was a career in the federal government. Even as a child I could see that this would probably lead to a life of bitter alcoholism so I became a hairstylist and had a wonderful 45 years of sculpting hair. 5 years ago I escaped from the insanity that is DC and moved to the beautiful Crystal Coast where I now sculpt with wool and clay.  My favorite pieces are of animals expressing human emotion and the joy of life.
