Patrick Sullivan

Since the first grade, I have captured images that surrounded me. First with a crayon, now with oils, acrylics and watercolors. I love to paint my surroundings to share with others. Raised in rural Randolph County North Carolina, I developed a love for being outdoors and the grandeur that surrounds us all. My wife and I have had a footprint in Carteret County for over twenty years and made Beaufort our permanent residence 3 years ago. I still love to hunt, fish, golf and scuba dive. We spend countless hours on our boat each year regardless of the season, enjoying all the natural beauty that surrounds us now. Whether it is in our own backyard and the Newport River, or the wonders of Shackleford or Cape Lookout, inspiration for a new painting is only a glance away. My biggest hope is that someone can look at one of my paintings on a "challenging" day and relive the moment I have captured and breathe a sigh of relief that life is really, really good. We are very blessed to live in such a beautiful place.
