 On Prince Street since 1920

In 1920 at New York City's 160 Prince Street, south of Houston (SOHO), Anthony Dapolito's immigrant father opened his bakery shop. Anthony was ten.

When a boy Anthony delivered baked goods on his bicycle throughout the then Italian neighborhood. The shop, over the next 70 years, was an iconic

New York City image. His window was always arranged as you see it here. When he passed in the 1990s family members requested use of this image

and others I had of the bakery., which I was proud to give. Regrettably the large building's tenants were moved out over the next couple years, and the

owner sold his multi-story building retiring to the western United States.
